Overview

Our knowledgeable guide will meet you in a prearranged location. Together you will walk through Florence historical center and its 2000 years of history. Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore
Your guide will explain the importance of the Cathedral and will present you with all the buildings that form the Duomo complex.
You will not enter inside ant of the monuments, the visit will be outside.

Your guide will talk about Piazza della Signoria, the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic that still maintains its reputation as the political focus of the city.

Palazzo Vecchio
The Palazzo Vecchio is the town hall of Florence, it was originally called the Palazzo della Signoria, after the Signoria of Florence, the ruling body of the Republic of Florence. No entrance.

Gallerie Degli Uffizi
The building of Uffizi complex was begun by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for Cosimo I de' Medici so as to accommodate the offices of the Florentine magistrates, hence the name Uffizi, "offices". The construction was later continued by Alfonso Parigi and Bernardo Buontalenti; it was completed in 1581. You will not enter inside the Galleria degli Uffizi.

Ponte Vecchio
The Ponte Vecchio is a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River noted for still having shops built along it, as was once common. Butchers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewelers, art dealers and souvenir sellers.

The Palazzo Pitti is a vast, mainly Renaissance, palace in Florence. It is situated on the south side of the River Arno, a short distance from the Ponte Vecchio.
