Overview

Enjoy with us the green oasis in the centre of Florence, a marvellous example of a 16th century Italian garden: Boboli Gardens.
This unique space was created by Luca Pitti on the South of the river Arno with the intention of building there a magnificent palace. in the 15th century.
The Medicean architect Niccolò Tribolo designed the garden in the 16th century.. After his death, works were completed by his collaborators, such as Giorgio Vasari, Bartolomeo Ammannati, Bernardo Buontalenti. The area was expanded several times over the years and many new statues and fountains were added in the garden.
Have a relaxing walk through this amazing open-air museum, full of fountains, temples, beautiful caves and sculptures (Michelangelo, Giambologna). Admire its masterpieces like the Grotta Grande, the Amphitheatre, the Viottolone and the Isolotto, the Knights Garden and the Coffeehouse and enjoy a spectacular view of Florence.
