Overview

The Medici family is the most well-knonwn Dynasty of Florence, however just a few minute from the city , there are hills dotted by the stately homes of some of the most important Nobility of Florence. The landscape comprising of wineyards, olives trees, castles and farmhouses will leave you breathless and take you well into the past. You will have the chance to taste the excellent Chianti Rufina wines produced in the old cellars of a Renaissance Villa belonging to one of the most important noble families of Florence.
Hearing their history, you will discover also the history of Florence.
The guided tour includes visiting the park where you can see ancient trees and the old wine cellars with oak barrels and barriques.
Wine tasting will be in the villa (from may to october) or in the farmhouse.
(5 different wines with cheese, salami and extra vergin olive oil).
