What To Expect

Gallerie Degli Uffizi
At either 10 am or 2 pm you will meet your guide outside the Uffizi Gallery in Piazza della Signoria and with reserved tickets you bypass the waiting queues and head directly inside.

The building itself is an architectural gem; built in 1560 by Gorgio Vasari it has wonderful decorated ceilings and sumptuous corridors and galleries. As you walk through the different galleries your guide will tell you something of the typical lifestyle of a Renaissance artist, how they were influenced by the politics and fashions of the era and how their patrons and benefactors influenced the execution of the numerous masterpieces on display. Feast your eyes on the spectacular artworks by Renaissance masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Giotto Titian and Caravaggio to name a few.

You will see famous works like Botticelli’s Birth of Venue and Leonardo da Vinci’s Annunciation as well as sculptures and paintings that personify the greatness of Renaissance Florence.

You expert guide will be on hand to answer all of your questions.
