What To Expect

Gallerie Degli Uffizi
In front of Door 3 of the Uffizi galleries you will meet the Guide who will help you enter the museum and pass the checks. Together we reach the second floor and in chronological order we admire the best Tuscan and Italian artists from the late '200 to the late' 600. It starts with the great Sala delle Maestà (Cimabue, Giotto and Duccio di Boninsegna), the fourteenth-century Sienese, Gentile da Fabriano, Filippo Lippi, Paolo Uccello and Botticelli. The octagonal hall of the Tribuna where doctors exhibit works for visitors for the first time, a sort of private museum. We continue with Leonardo, Michelangelo and raffaeelo ... The corridors dotted with ancient sculptures and the frescoed ceilings make the walk enchanting, but wait we have a coffee on the terrace with a view of Brunelleschi's CUpola. A stop in the bathroom and go down to the first floor where the painting surpasses the Renaissance masters and goes into Mannerism and Baroque ... Now it's up to Titian, Veronese and tintoretto, to finish with Caravaggio and the Caravaggeschi so dear to the Medici
