Overview

The guests will experience the famous Tuscan hills in a unique way: on horseback.
The ride is customized according to each one's riding experience. A professional equestrian guide will introduce you to the basics of the ride on horseback first and pair you to our very trained horses prior the 1h ride outward that will be held through spectacular olive groves and vineyards and that even the novice riders will enjoy much.
Upon the return to the stables the guests will be privately driven to a local medieval castle or a historic farm, specialized in the olive oil production.The landlord will guide the guests around the farm to discover the family's historic expertise in the olives farming and their superior quality extra virgin olive oil. A Tuscan lunch and the olive oil tasting paired with a wide tray of local cheeses, Tuscan ham and bruschettas, Chianti wine and coffee will finally be served in one of the farm's historic room or on the scenic terrace.
Vegetarians are also welcome.

What To Expect

A pleasant transfer from central Florence takes you to our riding center located at about 30min on the Chianti hills. During the drive you will get some information on the territory and some explanation on what you will do during the whole experience. At the riding center's you will be paired with the best horse for you. After a few minutes for preparation and basic riding instructions in the open or the idoor arena your four-legged companion and an expert tutor will lead you on a pleasant ride on horseback across the typical Tuscan countryside, dotted with manicured vineyards and tranquil olive groves, far from the crowds of the City, during which you will be able to take pictures of you and around you.
