Overview

Spend a day inside the iconic landscape of the Tuscan hills, visit Siena and in the afternoon taste the famous wine: Brunello di Montalcino.
Itinerary:
· Meet our driver and start your tour in the Tuscan hills.
· We will cross the Chianti area, among vineyards, olive trees and rows of cypresses until we reach the city of Siena.
· Free visit of the town of Siena: This city is well known for its gorgeous architecture and beautiful main square – the Piazza del Campo. Siena has a historic city centre that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Siena is also known for its legendary Palio horse race.
Our driver will be able to suggest where to have typical Tuscan lunch.
· After lunch we will cross one of the most beautiful Tuscan wine roads, between postcard hills and incredible vines until you get to Montalcino for a tasting of Brunello wine in a prestigious farm.
· Here we will taste 5 types of wines.
· At the end of the tasting, we will return to Florence.

First Stop in Siena and free vist of the town:
Siena is a historic city on the region of Tuscany and is the capital of the province of Siena. This city is well known for its gorgeous architecture and beautiful main square – the Piazza del Campo. Furthermore Siena has a historic city centre that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, Siena is also known for its legendary Palio horse race that takes place twice a year and draws hundreds of spectators. The most interesting things to see in Siena are: the famous Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, the Baptistery and the wonderful small streets of the historic center such as the “Via di città”.

Montalcino

After lunch we will cross one of the most beautiful Tuscan wine roads, between postcard hills and incredible vines until you get to Montalcino for a tasting of wine in a prestigious farm, where the production of this delicious wine has been made for generations. In fact, this family was one of the first to start the production of Brunello and has maintained over time a very high quality and a passion that has been handed down for generations. After the visit of the cellar and an explanation on the production of Brunello, the tasting will begin.
Here we will taste 5 types of wines including, Rosso di Montalcino. two types of Brunello Docg a Super Tuscan and a delicious Rosé. At the end of the tasting, we will return to Florence.
