Basilica of Santa Croce
The Basilica of Santa Croce is also known as the Temple of the Italian Glories as it houses the tombs of famous Florentines such as Michelangelo, the composer Rossini and others. It is the largest Franciscan church in the world and boasts 16 chapels with incredible frescoes and a relief by Donatello.

Piazza della Signoria is the square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. It is the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political heart of the city. It is also a meeting place for Florentines, tourists

Palazzo Vecchio
The Palazzo Vecchio is the town hall of Florence. It overlooks the Piazza della Signoria square, which holds a copy of Michelangelo's David statue and the statues in the Loggia dei Lanzi. Originally it was called the Palazzo della Signoria after the government of the medieval and Renaissance Republic of Florence.
