Take part in an exciting truffle hunt near Florence, in the Mugello valley, together with an expert truffle hunter and his faithful dogs!
This particular area of Tuscany is fortunate to produce a variety of truffles throughout the year. There is therefore always a good chance to find these unrivaled treasures of nature.
Truffle hunting takes place around a farmhouse near Borgo San Lorenzo. Here you will meet an expert truffle hunter who will teach you all the secrets about truffles and their research. You will be involved in a fascinating walk in the truffle field following the dogs trained to search for truffles.
At the end of the hunt you can enjoy a delicious lunch in a splendid farmhouse in Mugello.
Depending on the season and weather conditions, lunch will be served either inside a beautiful rustic Tuscan room next to an ancient fireplace or outdoors under a lovely porch overlooking an enchanting olive grove.
